2025 Michigan Super Lawyers
Super Lawyers has recognized five of our intellectual property attorneys with their inclusion on the list of 2025 Michigan Super Lawyers:
- Eric Dobrusin has received annual recognition from Super Lawyers since 2006. He has over 35 years of experience in patent counseling and prosecution and is also a published author and mediator.
- Erin Klug advises clients from startups to global corporations on intellectual property matters. With extensive experience in mechanical and electrical arts, she is known for practical strategies and proven success in protecting intellectual property rights. A Michigan Rising Stars honoree from 2017 to 2024, this is her first appearance on the Super Lawyers list.
- Paul Palinski focuses on patent counseling and prosecution in mechanical, electromechanical, and biomedical technologies. A former automotive engineer, he brings technical expertise and strategic guidance to his work representing clients from multinational corporations to individual inventors. This is his third straight year as a Super Lawyers honoree after seven consecutive years on the Rising Stars list.
- Kristen Pursley has been included on the Super Lawyers list every year starting in 2019, and on the Rising Stars list from 2013 until 2018, in recognition of her leadership and intellectual property practice. She advises clients in industries from automotive to medical devices, combining legal insight with practical strategies that protect IP and support business growth.
- Rebecca Wilson advises businesses on trademark and copyright protection matters from inception to enforcement. Known for her practical, cost-conscious approach, she represents clients across diverse industries, delivering clear strategies that safeguard brands and support long-term business success. This is her sixth straight selection for the Super Lawyers list.

His work is backed by industry and research experience and spans chemical, biological, mechanical, electromechanical, and software innovations.
- Katherine Pacynski protects innovations for clients in the mechanical, chemical, and materials science fields. She drafts and prosecutions patent applications, manages portfolios, and advises clients who gain value from her practical guidance and dedication to client relationships. She has been a Michigan Rising Stars honoree since 2019.
- Daniela Walters has been included on the Michigan Rising Stars list every year since 2017. She advises clients on all areas of transactional IP. With her engineering and business background, she counsels clients from startups to global companies, providing strategic, technically precise guidance to build and protect high-quality IP portfolios.
