Kristen Pursley and Daniela Walters Take on New Leadership Roles with the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court

We are proud to announce two Dobrusin Law Firm shareholders have assumed new leadership positions with the Michigan Intellectual Property American Inn of Court.

At the organization’s virtual Annual Meeting on May 25, 2021, managing shareholder Kristen Pursley was announced as President for the 2021-2022 term. Daniela Walters was named the Events Chair.

Founded in 2012, the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court is a part of the Richard Linn Inn Alliance. The Inn is a society of judges, lawyers, legal educators, and students who share a commitment to promoting excellence in legal advocacy in accordance with the Professional Creed of the American Inns of Court.

Kristen possesses a long record of service within the Michigan legal community. She is the current President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation, Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Past President of the Women’s Bar Association, and has served on the executive committee for the Michigan IP Inn of Court for several years.

Daniela served as Scholarship Chair with the Inn for the 2020-2021 term. She is also devoted to the local legal and business communities. She holds multiple leadership positions in Pontiac-based organizations, including Main Street Pontiac, where she is a co-founder, current board member, and Past President.

The Dobrusin Law Firm has had a strong presence in the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court. Founding shareholder Eric Dobrusin served as the Inn’s President for the 2018-2019 term, and many of the Dobrusin attorneys are members.
