The Dobrusin Law Firm Included in Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Inaugural “Empowering Women” Program

At the Dobrusin Law Firm, we are proud to have been selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of the honorees for its inaugural “Empowering Women” program. This program was established to recognize law firms and legal departments in Michigan that have displayed an unwavering commitment to supporting women attorneys. As a testament to our commitment to advancing women, seven of our 12 attorneys are women:

While women are underrepresented in the field of intellectual property, we have achieved remarkable milestones in advancing women within our firm. The Dobrusin Law Firm was established in 1999 with a woman managing shareholder at its helm. Today, managing shareholder Kristen Pursley leads the team, and the firm boasts a majority female attorneys and staff, many of whom have been integral to the firm’s journey for many years or even right from its inception.

Our attorneys are also dedicated to the advancement and education of women in the legal community, with many of them holding leadership positions within organizations such as the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, WLAM Foundation, and Women’s Bar Association.

Additionally, our attorneys provide mentorship through various organizations, including those that assist young women with confidence-building activities and those that encourage girls to explore STEM careers.

At the Dobrusin Law Firm, we believe that a well-rounded team is a key driver of innovation and success. Our highly skilled attorneys bring a wealth of talent, experience, and perspective to our team. Our commitment to supporting and elevating women enhances our ability to serve our clients effectively.
